Will Rogers Elementary School Partnership

For the past several weeks, members of our Circle Drive church family have responded to our request for school supplies for Will Rogers Elementary School. Our church has been incredibly blessed to be in partnership with this school, which is only about one mile south of our church campus.

Our partnership coordinator, associate pastor Ed McGee, devoted his time on Monday morning to compile a list of back-to-school donated items. Here is a list, with an understanding that more items continue to come in:

  • 106 pkg. crayons

  • 44 pkg. glue sticks

  • 195 pink erasers

  • 10 pkg. highlighters

  • 53 boxes colored pencils

  • 107 dozen #2 pencils

  • 240 composition/spiral notebooks

  • 102 folders

  • 35 back packs

  • 236 pairs socks

  • 12 pairs shoes

  • 192 pairs underwear

  • 28 pairs pants

  • 20 shirts

  • 5 barrettes

  • 5 water color paint sets

  • 12 pkg. broad markers

  • 5 pkg. fine markers

  • 24 pkg. paper

  • 32 bottle of glue

  • 4 rulers

  • 9 plastic boxes

  • 11 pairs scissors

  • 5 3-ring binders

  • 5 pkg. cap erasers

  • 5 pencil sharpeners

  • 4 gel pens

  • 12 pens

  • 1 pkg. construction paper

I praise the name of JESUS for the remarkable generosity of our Circle Drive church family! These supplies promise to meet some serious needs of many of the students in the school! Ed McGee invited me to deliver the boxes of school supplies, which filled the bed of his pick-up truck! It was such a joy to deliver the supplies, as well as know we were being "the hands and feet of JESUS" in meeting the needs of children. I praise our great GOD for the way He continues to work through His people called Circle Drive!!! We are so blessed to have this on-going partnership with Will Rogers Elementary School!!
