Way to go, CDBC Women's Ministry!

I praise our great GOD for CDBC's Women's Ministry!  Team leader Laurie Graham and the leadership team recently coordinated an outreach to the teachers/workers at Will Rogers Elementary School.

For the past several weeks, members of our church have been baking cookies - hundreds of them!  Then our Women's Ministry leadership team gathered these cookies into 63 individual tins to present to each teacher/worker at Will Rogers.  The tin also included a Christmas card with a Bible verse included, as well as a letter to each teacher and worker, expressing our gratitude to them for the way they are investing their lives to educate children and prepare them for the future.

Matthew 5:16 reminds us, "Let you light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father in heaven."  Through this wonderful act of kindness and outreach, the Women's Ministry has displayed a powerful witness of the love of JESUS and also brought glory to our GOD.  So thank you, ladies, for investing your time and your very lives to be a gospel witness to others!
