GOD Himself is the author of life. In Jeremiah 1:5, GOD declared, "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; and I ordained you a prophet to the nations." This one verse settles the question about abortion. According to the text, GOD "knew" Jeremiah even before He (GOD) created Jeremiah in the womb of his mother. Notice GOD also acknowledges He creates life in the womb. Another great truth? Before a person is born, GOD chooses a specific purpose for each person He creates: "I ordained you a prophet to the nations."

In Psalm 139: 13-14, the Psalmist wrote, "For you have formed my inward parts; You have covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my should knows very well."

I hope and pray you are registered to vote so that you can vote "yes" for proposition 115 on the November ballot. This proposition would make it illegal for anyone to perform an abortion when a fetus is at 22 weeks of gestation or later in the state of Colorado, except if the woman's life is endangered.

Colorado is one of several states without time limits on when women can get an abortion.

Colorado was the first state to loosen restrictions on abortion in 1967, six years before the U.S. Supreme Court would legalize it nationally in the Roe v. Wade decision. Previous attempts to pass outright bans on all abortion have been overwhelmingly rejected in the state.

So be sure to vote "yes" for Proposition 115!
