The Generosity of Our Circle Drive Church Family

One of the many reasons I love our church family at Circle Drive is their generosity!  I realized this truth again recently when I read the April/May 2017 Rocky Mountain Baptist, the news journal of the Colorado Baptist Convention.  On page 10, I discovered that our church ranked 4th out of 325 churches in the state in Cooperative Program giving in 2016.  Our church contributed $67,998.00.

The Cooperative Program is a means by which 45,000+ churches across the United States contribute in order to support the mission work of their state conventions,  over 4,000 International Missionaries, church planting efforts across North America, 6 seminaries (training over 10,000) students, and the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC).  Churches across our denomination designate a certain percentage of their contributions to the "Cooperative Program."  When each church sends in their monthly donation, each entity receives a percentage of that contribution.

I praise our great GOD that our church family called "Circle Drive" continues to impact our state, our nation, and our world through generous giving!  Way to go, church!
