I led RHC's first zoom prayer conference call last night at 7:00 p.m. I so appreciate those who took the time to join us! Philippians 4: 6-7, Colossians 4:2, and Acts 2:42 laid the foundation for our prayer time together. We devoted time to pray for our members who are in assisted living facilities, our governmental leaders (I Timothy 2: 1-2), for revival for believers and for spiritual awakening for our country (II Chronicles 7:14), for those who have the corona virus or families who have lost loved ones, and for our church family in general. After our prayer time together, we actually had a few minutes where members could visit with one another. You are invited to join us every Wednesday night at 7:00 for our zoom prayer conference call.

I want to extend congratulations to Colby Kleven, the grandson of Rod and Linda McCord, who has been accepted into the prestigious Juilliard School of Music in New York City. Local television station KOAA interviewed Colby last night, and also posted an article on line that you can access by clicking https://www.koaa.com/news/covering-colorado/pueblo-west-high-school-senior-accepted-into-juilliard

Want an idea on how to reach out to people in your neighborhood and be a positive witness for JESUS? Dr. James Merritt, a friend and pastor in Georgia, posted a video on Twitter earlier today, sharing details of what his wife and him did recently. His wife baked banana nut bread. They gathered gift bags. They placed the bread in the gift bag, along with a gospel tract, as well as a letter that invited the homeowner to contact them if they had any need or had a prayer request, and included their phone number and email address. They also invited guests to watch their worship service on line. Dr. Merritt got an email on Sunday. One neighbor was so impressed by their thoughtfulness and generosity that his family watched the church's live stream worship service. On Sunday afternoon, Dr. Merritt got an email from this neighbor, telling him that he committed his life to JESUS CHRIST after watching the broadcast. If you "have" twitter, you can click this link to hear Dr. Merritt share his 1 minute 52 second testimony: https://twitter.com/crosspointega/status/1245457317170221056?s=20
