Our "Conversations on Leadership" Small Group

I have really enjoyed the "Conversations on Leadership" small group! Each quarter members of the group read a book on leadership, come together, and spend two hours discussing the book. The Bible says in Proverbs 27:17, "As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend." It is my prayer that GOD uses this time to help us to grow to become more effective spiritual leaders, both in the church and in the workplace.

If you have not joined, then consider this my invitation to join our small group. We are currently reading a classic book on leadership by Dr. John Maxwell titled "21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership." This book by Dr. Maxwell is the "best of the best." It is filled with timeless truths in regard to leadership.

So purchase the book and start reading. Then you can join us on Wednesday night, March 15 at 6:00 pm in the singles house as we seek to "sharpen each other." If you decide to join, email me at mroutt@rhccs.org so that I can put you on the "Conversations on Leadership" e-mailing list.
