In Mark 16:15, GOD’s Word commands us to “go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” GOD has specifically called 3,623 persons to surrender their lives to full-time overseas missionary service. Yet we all also have the responsibility of obeying this command. Since GOD has not called us to go overseas, WE CAN GIVE SO THAT OTHERS CAN GO. We, therefore, obey this command by giving so that other can go for us.

Last year, IMB personnel started 12,368 new churches around the world, and saw 89,325 new believers baptized. Our missionaries also trained 18, 598 pastors, and also assisted in agricultural projects, meeting medical needs, and providing refugee care.

Dr. Amos Lee, executive director of the Chinese Baptist Fellowship in San Francisco, wrote:

“My life as a believer and a minister of the gospel embodies the fruit of the value and the cooperative mission of the International Mission Board and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.

“I was saved under the preaching of an IMB missionary in Malaysia, in a church built by the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.

“I was equipped and trained by at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a scholarship from the IMB; had served as lecturer, dean and then president of the Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary which was established by the IMB and now have come full circle, serving among pastors and churches stateside and encouraging them to give to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.”

Truly GOD is transforming lives around the world through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions. The Redemption Hill Church offering goal for this year is $20,000. Let me encourage you to give (1) as an act of obedience in fulfilling Mark 16:15 and (2) as a means of supporting the world outreach of 3,623 IMB missionaries. Let us reach AND exceed our goal this year!!!
