Honoring Ed and Debbie McGee

Our Circle Drive Church family wants to say thank you to Ed McGee for 24 years of faithful service as a full-time pastoral staff member.  Ed's start date at CDBC was February 21, 1993.  During these years, Ed has consistently remained faithful to the LORD, his wife, his family, his church family, and his calling.  He served for many years as our worship pastor.  Several years ago he transitioned to become the AIM director, ministering to our senior adult members.  He also has served in the capacity of director of our New Life Counseling Center, coordinating this important ministry.  He has also led on several construction mission trips.

Ed and Debbie are a wonderful team for CHRIST.  They have two children, Ron, who serves as a worship pastor in a church in Oklahoma, and Missy, who lives in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  GOD has blessed the McGee's with a wonderful Christian family.

As you probably already know, this Sunday is the McGee's last at Circle Drive, as Ed has announced his "refocus." He is "retiring" from his ministry here, but he is not really retiring.  Although Ed will no longer be on staff, he will be very busy with a passion GOD has given him - construction ministry/missions.  Ed is going to enlist other churches/members to join him on construction ministry/ministry trips.  In the years ahead, GOD will continue to use Ed in a wonderful way to "build up" GOD's Kingdom physically and spiritually.

Please join us this Sunday night as we honor Ed and Debbie for their 24+ years of faithful service.  We will host a special reception at 6:30 pm in the church's fellowship hall.
