Colorado Conference on Prayer and Revival

The greatest need in our country right now is spiritual awakening! Indeed, our culture in so many ways is "in crisis."  The solution is not political or social - it is spiritual. It has been over 100 years since America experienced a spiritual awakening.  We desperately need a movement of GOD in our lives, our churches, and our country.

Revival starts in the heart of the individual Christian.  They it spreads to other individuals.  Then the church is "engulfed" in the fires of revival.  The revival begins to spread to other churches, eventually sweeping across the country.  It has happened before in American culture, and it can happen again.  When this revival occurs, believers begin to share the good news of the gospel again in earnest.  And that is what changes our culture!

Carl F. H. Henry once said, "The evangelical task is the preaching of the gospel, in the interest of individual regeneration by the supernatural grace of GOD, in such a way that divine redemption can be recognized as the best solution of our problems, individual and social.

On Monday, May 4, a conference on prayer and revival will be held at Cornerstone Church in Lone Tree.  Anyone with a burden for our country and revival is invited to attend.  Guest speakers include Dr. Jeff Iorg, president of Golden Gate Seminary and Dr. Frank Page, president and CEO of the SBC Executive Committee.  The meeting begins at 2:00 p.m. and concludes at 9:00 p.m., with a light dinner served around 5:00 p.m.  I encourage our church family to attend this conference on prayer and revival!
