AUGUST - A SEASON OF PRAYER AND FASTING

Our Heavenly Father is prompting our hearts to enter into a season of prayer and fasting for the month of August. In Matthew 17:20-21, GOD's Word says, "And He said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. “But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

We believe GOD has a miraculous future for His people called Circle Drive. So every member of Circle is requested to participate. We are praying daily for these requests:

  • SUNDAY: Personal/Church Revival and a renewed passion to live for JESUS

  • MONDAY: Non-Christians/Church and Personal/Church Outreach

  • TUESDAY: Church staff and Church Leadership

  • WEDNESDAY: Our families and growth in godliness

  • THURSDAY: Sub-Sahara Africa People Group and missionaries

  • FRIDAY: Military families, deployed military, and military ministry

  • SATURDAY: Sale of the Church campus, GOD's timing, and relocation.

Our church family is also encouraged to fast and pray. Instead of eating a meal, a person could take 30 minutes to pray. A person can also fast from sunup to sundown, and pray at times during the day.

So let's seek GOD through prayer and fasting, for it is a means to separate yourself from your regular patterns and from things of the world and come closer to the Lord.
