A TRIBUTE TO MARGIE SAUVAGE
On behalf of our Redemption Hill Church family, I extend my love, sympathy, and prayer support to the family of Margie Sauvage. Margie "went home" to be with the LORD on August 23, 2019 at her daughter Juanita's home in Fort Collins. She was 90.
Margie met her husband, Carlos, when she was a student of William Penn College in Oskaloosa, IA. Carlos went on to have a distinguished career in the military, including serving in the Vietnam war. They had four children: Carlos, Ramona, Juanita, and Ernest.
Margie was an educator. She earned her BA in education at Kansas State University and her MA at CSU Pueblo. She enjoyed her teaching career in the public schools in Colorado.
Until her health began to decline, Margie faithfully attended Redemption Hill Church. She joined membership in May 1989, making her a member for 30 years. She wholeheartedly supported our church's vision, and looked forward to the day when our new church campus would be built. Margie had a dry sense of humor, enjoyed life, lived by her convictions, and remained faithful to JESUS to the end of her earthly life. She was a joy and delight to us all.
Margie Sauvage's celebration of life service will be held in the worship center at Redemption Hill Church on Tuesday, October 1 at 1:00 pm. The family will host a reception after the service. Be sure to remember this family in prayer!!
