A Tribute to Lynn Stout

On behalf of our Circle Drive church family, I extend our love, sympathy and prayer support to Wilma Stout and her family in the passing of Lynn Stout. The writer of the book of Ecclesiastes reminds us that there is "a time to be born and a time to die." For Lynn Stout, the time to be born was August 22, 1934 in Yukon, Oklahoma, and the time to die was August 4, 2017 in Colorado Springs. Lynn served 21 years in the Air Force, attaining the rank of Master Sergeant. In 1958, he married Patricia Ann Bullock. They had 2 sons, Corky and Mark, and 1 daughter, Anne. After Lynn retired in 1974, he and his family moved to Los Alamos, New Mexico, where he served as a laser technician and researcher at the Los Alamos Laboratory. While he worked there, Patricia passed away in 1982. In 1987, Lynn married Wilma Aljinovich, and had one stepson, Jay. In 1997, Lynn retired, and Wilma and he moved to Colorado Springs. On November 2, 2003, Lynn moved his membership from the White Rock Baptist Church in Los Alamos, New Mexico to Circle Drive. Since that date, Wilma and Lynn faithfully attended Circle, until recent health challenges did not allow them to attend. Lynn Stout's celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at Cappadona Funeral Home at 1020 E. Fillmore Avenue. A viewing and visiting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. Please continue to remember this family in prayer!
