    A Word from Dr. Mike - 5/17/22

I Thessalonians 5: 11 declares, “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” In a world filled with darkness and hopelessness, GOD’s Word commands to focus on the positive and focus on others. In a discouraging and “tear down” culture, Paul declares, since we are followers of JESUS, that we keep on encouraging “one another and build one another up.” Sometimes, when I am driving, as I pass homes on the street, I ask myself the question, “I

    A Word from Dr. Mike - 5/10/22

In this week’s RHC Bible reading plan, I read Psalm 55 on Monday. Verse 22 is powerful: “Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.” The word “cast” is a verb. It is an action word. TODAY IS NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress and was signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. This year's theme is “Exalt the Lord who has Established U

    A Word from Dr. Mike - 5/3/22

For believers who are experiencing difficult or painful circumstances, GOD truly has a word for them. Nahum 1:7: The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him. Regardless of our changing circumstances, we can rest assured in the confidence that our great GOD never changes. Verse 7 declares, “The LORD is good…” In the good times and in the bad times. In times of ease and times of discomfort. In times of prosperity and times of loss.

    REDEMPTION HILL CHURCH STAFF TRANSITION

ANNOUNCEMENT Yesterday, I read this announcement to our Redemption Hill Church family: My wife, Kathy, has served as children’s director in 4 churches for the past 40 years. The last few months she has felt led to re-focus in ministry. Recently, GOD placed it on her heart that now was the right time to make that move. Last August, GOD in His providence led Austin and Alicia Dovin to the church. We have come to love them and sense GOD’s hand upon their lives. After prayer
