    National Day of Prayer - This Thursday

    This coming Thursday, May 2, is our National Day of Prayer. Christians and churches across American are observing this day, reflecting on the reality of II Chronicles 7:14: “If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Our church doors will be open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.     GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY THIS SATURDAY

    How often does an official groundbreaking “roll around?” It is indeed a rarity! In our church family’s history, the last groundbreaking was around 1972 – 47 years ago!     A Tribute to Cal Hyche

    On behalf of our church family at Redemption Hill, I want to extend my love, sympathy, and prayer support to the family of Cal Hyche, who passed away to heaven last Tuesday, April 2 at the age of 98. Cal was preceded in death by his wife, Marge in 2014. Cal was born and raised in Alabama. When he enlisted in the US Army in 1942, he was assigned to Camp Carson. Marge was working in the doctors and nurses chow hall. They met, and were married December 1, 1942. Their marria
