    Sunday Memorial Day Picnic

Circle Drive church family, be sure to join us tomorrow after morning worship for our picnic at the park, right across the street from the church building.  The church will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks.  If your last name begins with A-M, please bring a side dish (chips, fruit, casseroles, etc.).  If your last name begins with N-Z, please bring a dessert.  Also, be sure to bring your own lawn chairs or blankets.  I look forward to seeing you all there! Remember!

Serving as President of the Colorado Baptist Convention

I have so enjoyed serving as president of the Colorado Baptist Convention for the past 1 1/2 years!  My second year term expires in October. Recently, I had the joy of leading a meeting of the CBC Executive Board, which is comprised of 18 members from across the state, as well as other leaders who attend.  We held our meeting for the first time at Ponderosa Retreat and Conference Center.  Marcus Rawls and his staff were amazing hosts.  Hopefully we can return next year. Recently the Young at Heart Bible Study class had a campaign to raise money for Baptist Global Response, a ministry that is reaching out to people in need around the world.  This emphasis is not a first.  Their outreach is

    Supporting Our Military Families

Through the years, our Circle Drive church family has been (and continues to be) incredibly blessed by military families who have transferred to Colorado Springs via Fort Carson, Schriever Air Force Base, Peterson Air Force Base, Air Force Academy, and NORAD.  So many have come and gone.  These families "jump right in," knowing the time limitation of their assignment here, and make a difference for a "season," and then move on to their next assignment.  When they leave, our h

Tomorrow is National Day of Prayer

Christians across America observe the National Day of Prayer the first Thursday of the month of May.  Through various venues, believers pray individually and corporately for brokenness, repentance, revival, extraordinary prayer, fasting, spiritual awakening, and a renewed passion to take the gospel to the nations. You are invited to come to our Circle Drive building tomorrow to pray.  Our worship center or our prayer room will be available from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Second Chro
